Hendrix and Queen seem to be the least proggy bands you have in a list of indisputable time sig shifters. Out of pure curiostiy, what gets them onto the list? In these two cases, does raw talent override you're hatred of 4/4?

(Since Im often misunderstood, this was honest and asking in a humerous manner)

Well see....ever since i really got into music...Hendrix and Queen were always my favourites...and i have nothing against 4/4 but prog is just so interesting to me right now because i am newly introduced to it...similar to what i am with Epic metal right....and also i see Symphony X having more skill than queen (music composition wise) i know i will get bahsed for that but its my strongly felt opnion

Well not by me, but what says to you they have more skill, I think Metal is on per with Jazz and classical, so to me, I feel its appels and oranges, I've played queen, its no cake walk, but in your opinion, what sets Symph X apart from Quenn?
