Aside from Muse and Radiohead, all those bands are prog metal groups, thus proving my point about your lack of interest in other music genres.

Also, the only groups out of these that i actualy give a crap about are Radiohead, Muse and Symphony X....Though i do like some LTE, whom i really only listen to because of Tony Levin.

First of all, Transatlantic aren't prog-metal, and I wouldn't exactly call LTE entirely prog-metal.

Secondly, and most importantly, you accuse me of having a lack of interest in other music styles, saying you made a "point." The sad thing though, boo bear, is that you misinterpreted "top 10" for "every single band I have interest in.”

Nice try in bringing down my credibility though.

Moreover, most of those prog-metal bands are extremely distinct. Adagio are more about mixing classical and prog-metal, Nevermore and Evergrey are a different breed of prog-metal entirely, etc, etc.

And lastly, saying you only listen to LTE because of Tony Levin is a grade A example of being close-minded; something you accuse me of frequently.

Prog metal is distinct in a way, but compared to all the music thats out there, its a very limited term...And the fact that you refuse to expand your musical tastes further is a sign of your lack of musical interest.

Well i apologise for Levin being one of my favorite bassists, and for not wanting to listen to the band for Petrucci's superlong wankfests...The band would suck ass without Levin.

Wtf? Refused to do what now? I've already told you I listen to a wide range of rock, it just so happens that once my exploring was over, I haven't found anything better than prog-metal. If I "refused to take my musical tastes elsewhere" then why did I start listening to rock in the first place? Initially I was only into classical.


Apology not accepted...suck without Levin? rofl. He had nothing to do with any of the compositions, it was all Petrucci and Rudess. Levin could have been replaced with any bassist, but having him in just made it cooler and all super-goupey.
