these are my favorites in order:

1. Led Zeppelin
2. Pearl Jam
3. Dropkick Murphys
4. Rise Against
5. Unearth
6. Blink 182
7. Protest the Hero
8. Slayer
9. The Cars
10. The Who

Granted most of these are never considered the top 10, but it's all an opiniionated thing.

The following bands are bolded for the reasons that they should be FAR FAR FAR away from any greatest bands lists

Hey, it was a group thing, and we all decided on those - so what? It really doesn't matter what you think because it is an opinion. Granted they aren't necessarily the top bands ever, but they are favorites - what makes a band in the top10? Whether you like them, or whether everybody else thinks they are top10?
