British, simply because I'm British probably. I see the bands more often and I can relate to them a lot easier. Plus we've put out some of the finest bands ever to grace rock music.

this has nothing to do with this topic, but how can i get my avatar to display?
And i think rock music in general has slowely went to sleep with the exceptions of a few bands still renovating the music.

What do you think about these new "garage" bands that have gotten popular recently? Jet, White Stripes, The Strokes, etc.
Sounds to me they are stealing a few pages from old Rolling Stones.

at least they're bringing back a bit of the old rock spirit i think, bands like Blink 182 and the Darkness are just imitating bands such as led zep and the clash, but the strokes for example bring their own style to the genre.

Basing a genre on it's nationality is pretty asenine.

"Who's better, a BLACK rock star or a wHITE rock star?"

Just as asenine as the preceeding statement.
