Default Ambient Black Metal

I recently got into Wolves in the Throne Room, and really like it. Does anyone know of similar bands worthy of recognition? Thanks

Thanks for your comments. Which Burzum album do you think most closely resembles WITTR?

No Burzum albums closely resemble WITTR.

Check out Krallice and Weakling check out Drudkh too, especially Estrangement (most recent drudkh album)

Is Weakling ambient? I never thought so....I'll have to listen to those old things again.

I was mainly drawing the comparison with WitTR and Weakling, not so much the ambient aspect, although you could say they are to an extent.

Drudkh pretty much restored my faith in Black metal. Many BM fans however didn't much care for Estrangement which I found ridiculous. One said it was "too classic rock".
