Question how did rock change your life?

i'm curious..cause rock changed my life a lot...in a good way..
it influenced my opinions about other people and it made me more confident;
i think everybody agrees that rock is more than just music

so youre saying that you dont let music change you? you cant feel good about listening to an incredible song and you dont care whether you listen to RATM or Britney Spears?
It must have changed something! for me it let me think more freely, and I got better at listening to other people, and letting others have their own opinion.

If you cant see what rock has done to the world, I suggest removing that paper bag you obviously have on your head..

Rock helps you deal with stuff, it gives you advice lyrically and a catharsis musically. it also gives you identity and more confidence. its certainly more than just music- its therapy, history and a way of life. it rules.

So Rock made you more respectable towards others opinions?

But then when someone has an opinion you disagree with you do this:

That sounds a little contradicting.

i don't think i'm more special than my other classmates but maybe i am...cause i became more open minded...and rock helped me a lot...it is one of the things that make me unique in the crowd of chicks from my highschool (they listen to usher...). i'm definitely not like them. plus..they look at me in a weird way..."how can you not like usher??" and "how can you wear black all the time?" in my case, rock changed A LOT

Before rock found me, I was confused. I didn't have a type of music that I liked, I sat in my room listening to rap and pop (I still have leftover CDs from back then.) But, one day I fliped some channels and came to a station that played some of my favorite rock songs from the '90s that I forgot all about. I was hooked. I've been bolder ever since! Rock is all about real music. That is all.

I met my ex through it, I made a ton of friends through music and it eventually gave me a living, so yeah, music's been pretty important to me.
