I actually did smile when Jerry Falwell died. Anyway, I think its stupid everyone is treating this like such a tragedy when whats going on in Darfur is a million times worse but gee, who cares about that right?

I've not checked out Hawthorne Heights yet.

But I am a big, though relatively new Escape the Fate fan, and I do detect a general malise of Hawthorne Heights from the Escape fans, especially now Escape are supporting Hawthorne on their tour.

Anyway, I'll try anything once - I've recently fallen for Rise Against, had albums 3 & 4 for a while, but never got them, I think mainly cause State of the Union opening the 3rd album is so heavy compaired to the rest, I never got past it at first.

but then escape opened my eyes to music with screaming, and I've been learning ever since, Rise Against are my current fave, with Escape being a very close second.
