Hawthorne Heights (lead singer, hardcore, great song, cd, album)

They were a really good band. I have no idea what they are gonna do now because the best screamer (Casey Calvert) died a couple of months ago. One of my favorite things about Hawthorne Heights was Casey Calvert, along with many other fans. I have no idea about what they will do without him, or if they will make any more CDs.

Probably just get another one of the billions of people in the word who can randomly scream, it's not like he was good at screaming or anytinhg, I hope you're not thinking that...

Hawthorne Heights is a decent emo band, but there a better bands out there.
Taking Back Sunday is a lot better musically, and lyrically, in my opinion.

Hathorne hights gets a lot of crap because they were the first real big scremo band but I think they put out a strong cd with there last one . Although all there stuff tends to sound the same. As a young person they will always have a place in my heart forever.....Ohio is for lover is a great song and so is December (is that what it called?)

Hawthorne Heights aren't emo (or screamo) because they aren't hardcore, simple as that. They're pop-rock with screaming and some slight pop-punk influences though I think there one of those bands that have more tendencies towards hard rock than pop-punk, I'm not sure I lose track of who sounds like what since there's millions of bands playing the same generic shit. Good day.

So the lead singer wrote this song for the dead guy, and it's easily one of the worst things I've ever heard. I mean, prejudices aside, they are musically one of the worst bands I've ever heard. Completely lack talent in every aspect.

I agree complety. They have little to no talent, and it is not at all nessiary for us to hear another one of theese bands that all sound the same. They need to learn how to write actual music, for what they have out right now is just plain horrible
