What got YOU into metal? (rock, albums, Slipknot, artist)

Was just wondering what got you guys into metal?

I started listening to Sum 41 when I was like, 12, then I somehow found Slipknot through them, and I've been a Maggot ever since

Very good song! Archetype is better though imo.

There is no appropriate section. And you spelled there wrong. And compared to some of the other beatings you might(probably) get, I'm the gentle one.
