So far, I've only heard the Sad But True covers from St. Vincent and Jason Isbell and I hated them both.

Metallica are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic record, ‘The Black Album’, with a range of artists offering their own renditions across a mammoth 53-track tribute album.

The thrash metal giants have announced a new collaborative record, ‘The Blacklist Album’, which will see 53 bands and artists – including Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Royal Blood, PUP, and Corey Taylor – cover one of the twelve tracks on ‘The Black Album’.

Set to be released on September 10th 2021 via Metallica‘s label, Blackened Records, all proceeds from the album will be donated to charities of each contributing artist’s choice, alongside donations to Metallica‘s own foundation, All Within My Hands.
