I half agree with you there but in the fact that i think that the latest metallica are just like the old metallica.A right load of old guff!

'New Metallica' eh? Is that like 'new labour'? If so it'll probably be full of shoite and no different to what it was before.

new metallica is good, but not for metallica, ies half decent music but if compared to older metallica is like torturing me by playing avril.... so new metallica sucks, old metallica rocks.

The new Metallica is like 9 minutes a song.... Old Metallica is awesome though, especially really loud..

wow, thats nuts that they had that in the first place. but i actually never listen to radio anyway, usually just pop in a cd, all the stations in my city suck :p:

I like St. Anger better than Load and Reload. They kinda sound like nu metal now on the idea of Slipknot, but nothing can top their earlier stuff. I hope they go back to their heavier roots.

Agh! New Metallica needs to stop right now. They changed so much. I love their old stuff. Old Metallica shows pure metal and pure talent. Now they just sound like a crappy nu-metal band.

I was reading an album review for St. Anger, and it got a .5 out of 10 and I dont think it even deserved that. I regret listening to that album. On their MTV Icon, they complimented their new album and hyped me up to go buy it. Now most of the world hates it.

Well, if MTV likes something.. chances are anyone with an IQ higher than that of a milkshake wont.. ;)

i love metallica and always will, but i just dont like the new album much, it has a few good songs, but black album and everything before that was the ****.

yea bob rock recorded the bass didnt he......i dont think i really like that guy :mad:

I like the Unnamed feeling, I just dont know if I like all the other ones. Decent.

recently been listening to Unforgiven II, and i have to say that it has grown on me. OK, ReLOAD may not be a great album, but it ain't as bad as i first thought along time ago. infact it has a few good songs on. Prince Charming has a catchy intro riff n chorus.

this is a very very hard decision as there are so many excellent songs but heres my top 5

5. Seek and Destroy
4. Sanatarium
3. Orion
2. One
1. Damage Inc.

These are my particular top 5 at this moment in time. but there were several others that were very close.

You should call them Nutallica. I'm sure they will have a metalcore sound on their next album. Maybe they will get Killswitch to tour with them on their album.

Does anyone think that Metallica will ever come out with another good album? St. Anger sucked in my opinion. I maybe nieve but I can still have my dreams. Word.
