What about George Clinton? He represented Parliment, Funkadelic and the bands together as Pfunk. Always vibrant and known for the bands more than any other member.

Jimmy Hendrix, Amazing talent, brilliant showman
Nick Cave, powerful lyrics, incredible voice, genius delivery
Jarvis ****er, as above
Thom Yorke, as above
Siouxie Sioux, she's gorgeous and brilliant
John Lydon, Just kicks ass and takes no prisoners

I appreciate big ones like Freddy Mercury, but as I'm not particularly into the music, they don't make my list.
