Nickleback (favorite band, itunes, Nickelback, tunes, iTunes)

I dont really like nickelback, but they do have a few catchy songs, Chad Kruger used to live 10 minutes down the street from where I used to live, In highschool I would drive past his house everyday on my was to school, I would see him every once in a while driving around town in a Ferrari or a Ford GT or something, his gf used to shop at my aunts clothing store in town and she said that his gf, some young bimbo type chick, would come in and drop like $10 000 on a couple things no problem, lol, like I said Im not really a fan of the guy but I gotta give him credit for making it this far.

It was a festival , It's tradition at festivals to chuck stuff at shit bands.

So do a lot of bands. But catchy does not equal talented.
But I will agree that you have to be impressed that a band this bland and boring can be making the big ones. SO many extremely talented bands hardly make anything

I like how I post something about Nickelback and you ignore the topic and go off on something completely different.

EDIT: Here's what I really think.
I think that, just like Hot Topic kids have a trend of buying Nirvana t-shirts when they don't even listen to the band, that society has a trend of automatically either loving or hating mainstream music.
Oh, and if they hate whoever makes it mainstream, they go on about how much the band sucks and has no talent at all.
Yet, I bet most of those critics can't even play two notes on a frying pan with a wooden spoon.

Just my opinion.

haha. yeah, some mainstream isnt ALL that bad. most people who like alternative just like to complain about how its sh1t

nickelback doesn't try and be something their not, so even if their music sucks you can't really hate them. I mean, yeah their new stuff sucks. But 8 years ago they had some good songs. What did they do to make people hate them?
