Died in a freak plane accident on March 19, 1982. The pilot of the plane was playfully swooping down on Ozzy's tour bus, and accidentally struck it, killing all three passengers, including the pilot and Randy.

right... i've always known how he died though. i was curious as to how you believed he passed away prior to finding this out yesterday.
