i love linkin park they really do rock, the band is one of my favourites!!! and i love all their songs, unfortunately i dont have any off their cds as i havent got a big enough allowance for all my favourite bands cds. :(

Linkin Park is too mainstream

^ since when is mainstream a bad thing? Linkin Park isn't my cup of tea you might say, but 3-4 years ago when it was I liked them alot. The music isn't terrible but its so damn angsty.

i think that linkin park are one of the better bands of today, most of the other rock bands songs sound the same but linkin parks songs are much more different and most of them have hidden meanings.

They have their own sound and its then that you know they are a decent band. Meteora is one of my favourite albums I own.

Linkin Park is the shiz.
I remember going to school at 6 in the morning and standing up on top of the lunch room tables and screaming the words to 'In the End' with a bunch of my slut like friends. Good times. :beer:

I've gone to 3 of their concerts and I've got more poster of them than you'd think I'd ever own.

Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda are the sexiest members. And the guys are so funny.
And unlike so many other bands out there, they're music is popular not because they're a commercial band but because people can relate to what they're singing about.

And the energy they have on stage is amazing. Even if I didn't like them I'd go to any one of their concerts just because they have so much energy and always try to please tehir fans.

LP and JZ's "numb encore" was the worst song ive ever heard. if you like rap then listen to rap. if you like rock then listen to rock. they just dont mix. i wouldnt waste my time or money buying that POS cd.

At any rate, I'm not a big fan of Jay-Z. I don't listen to rap half the time anyways. But that's besides the point. The point is that I heard the original "numb' by Linkin park featuring Liinkin Park, you get the idea, and I didn't like it too much.
I heard the Jay-Z ad LP remix to 'Numb' and I was blown away. Now far. But far enough. I think the song was really cool. Although if Linking Park wanted to do a song with someone they should have done one with the Beastie Boys. that would have been something to remember. Or maybe Eminem. I wouldn't mind listening to that.

LP's hybrid theory and meteora were good. but reanimation sucked, and that JZ $hit does too. reanimation was just hybrid theory with rappers. And this JZ $hit is just meteora with rappers. dont people realize this?!

I've heard a couple of songs and I have to admit it sounds terrible, don't get me wrong both Linkin Park and Jay-Z are great but I think this album is really just a tragic collision course.

Yeh... I used to love Linkin Park... be a complete obsession freak over them... then I guess I grew up. And then they brought this one out. What is it with Linkin Park and insisting on making re-mix albums of every 'normal' album they have made?! Ah well.

I'm growing to like the Numb/Encore song. But it's probably just for the Numb bit... and the 'can I get an encore, do you want more.' That's about all I can handle.
