Anarchy doll 03-17-2005 08:54 AM

well, it was a draw between Kurt and Freddie....I could never mistake them...but the guy from Puddle of Mudd sounds alot like him.....
still, there are more you should have added, I could never forget these voices: Jello Biafra, Johnny Rotten, Courtney love(however Broadie come REAL close) and I saw that some one already mentioned the Ozzman....

Paul Draper (and his floppy hair) from the band Mansun :P

TillyLovesYew 03-20-2005 09:04 AM

For me it has to be Freddie Mercury coz he is great and life wouldnt be the same without his voice.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 03-20-2005 09:29 AM

^I like you already :) I know what you mean, I grew up listening to his voice, it just wouldnt have been the same without him.

Micheal Stipe
Ozzy
Axl Rose

I wasn't calling YOU a conformist....and I said WHATEVER.....LOL!

ArtistInTheAmbulance 03-22-2005 02:24 PM

You said "youre".
"Youre" often implies "you".
Hence the "you" in it.

*Is confused*

jesus 03-22-2005 02:35 PM

don't be, she calls everyone a conformist, I figured most people would be used to that by now.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 03-22-2005 02:43 PM

I know, its just that it still bugs me. A lot. Everyones a fecking conformist, we cant even breathe the same way anymore.

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-22-2005 03:18 PM

I`d rather be conformist than being the token 'punk' 'goth' 'mosher' 'DJ' or whatever on a music forum.

Sneer 03-22-2005 03:22 PM

how ironic that the archtypal "anarchists rebelling against conformity" are now the conformists. i swear, give it 10 years and it'll be rebellious to like pop.

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-22-2005 03:26 PM

I`m not comformist because I have tattoos & peircings , just like all of my friends.

Sneer 03-22-2005 03:27 PM

the irony of it.

Yep. Everyone will rebel, and yet because theyre all rebelling, theyre all 'conforming'. All trying too hard to be different and ending up just the same. HA that'll teach ya...

PopIsDead 03-22-2005 05:22 PM

Enough of the arguments. Back to the topic. I think Thom Yorke, Les Claypool, and Maynard James Keenan all have very distinct voices.

Rob Paul 03-23-2005 06:37 PM

y'ask me its gotsta be Mike Patton

Holy crap Glenn Danzig <33 Yeah he's definitely got one recognizable voice...I remember it was described as "Elvis from Hell" in a magazine once
