Regarding Jack's main projects:

The Raconteurs > The White Stripes > The Dead Weather

He should stick to The Raconteurs.

Yeah, exactly. I could live with TWS disbanding as long as The Raconteurs carry on.. But there's something about TWS, as long as they keep making a high standard of albums. Not like Get Behind Me Satan.

Get Behind Me Satan had Instinct Blues which is a damn good song.

I like it, a few damn good songs, but it's one of their weaker albums. If they start to hit a decline, then they should part ways and do something else. I hope they don't. I want a new White Stripes album. None of this Dead Weather nonsense. I think they're alright, but TWS are just great.

I like all three and greatly enjoy that there is a new Jack White release each and every year. Agree with the others though, his greatest accomplishment is The White Stripes, but I think he has just about worn out the potential that The Stripes have to offer, and maybe The Raconteurs or something new are the best direction for him from here on out...

Maybe you're right. New White Stripes album due for 2011 though isn't there? So after that we'll see if they're past their best or still have some great stuff to offer. I wouldn't mind if The Raconteurs were Jack's main band though. They have some great records left in them.

Same here. Icky Thump was bang tidy. I can't wait for another White Stripes record. Chomping at the bit, The Dead Weather are alright. But nothing more. Come on Jack, get with Meg.
