Right, I know there are some proper metal experts on here.
I'm not much of a metal guy, but I <3 screamo, are there any metal albums that you guys can think of (any type of metal, I'll even give death a go) that incorporate the unorthodox punk, hardcore and emo stylings that makes up screamo? Don't necessarily have to be scream vocals, but similar in terms of song structure? Failing that, hit me up with a death metal album that is pretty accessible and won't just leave me with a headache. I got Utumno's Across The Horizon EP and liked that, so anything similar. Cheers metalheads. |
As someone else who's just started experimenting with Death Metal, I've to to say I'meally enjoying listening to Obituary. I've also started listening to Death and the vocals ranged from the expected guttural death growl to all out screaming, so that might be worth a try.

Unsane formed in 1988...and really for the most part have not changed their sound much....if anything they had an influence on post 80s hardcore
