Bat, you continue to surprise me.

Yeah, give "Crime of the Century" a serious look. There's maybe 10 albums out of thousands that I'd deem perfect and that's one of them. Probably helps that this dude was behind the board.

I've never listened to Supertramp. I don't even really like prog rock. I just wanted to make that joke.

Check out Frank Zappa, his album Joe's Garage, Over-Nite Sensation, and Zoot Allures are a good place to start.
He only has around 99 official albums to choose from.

Maybe Steely Dan as well. You'll find some Jazz Fusion with both of these artist/bands, and plenty of experimental and prog at the same time.

Supertramp would be just your thing.

Going through hell to find the studio stuff of theirs, but listening to a live performance of Bloody Well Right is getting my wheels turning. I like it. Now onto the rest of the album.

He's quite a weirdo, I must admit, but I'll get some more listening time for his stuff soon enough. I just have to get over all the goofyness so I can get into the music.

Zappa isn't prog. Prog is for fags. Zappa is for middle aged men who like to wear dresses and sing erotic showtunes in Swahili to Star Wars memorabilia.

1. I can't smoke due to asthma, but I'm cute as **** if you're talking about that kind of ***
2. I'm not middle aged, but I look better in a dress surrounded by Star Wars memorabilia than you ever will.
