Does anyone happen to know a site that sells used CD's and combines shipping?

I've been listening to the Doors LA Woman alot lately. Does anyone know any other albums where the singer has that tired, whiskey laden voice?

It came with both age and whisky drinking, his earlier singing has more clarity. Its actually great to see the evolution of his voice from 67 to 71. The earlier stuff falls into the dark psychedelic and acid rock category despite the odd blues influenced songs.

Do you know any other albums (not Doors) where the singer has a similar voice?

Anyway, I'll have to check out Skid Row and EZN.

Of course, I'll check it out after I get on all the other recommendations you guys have given me.
Limp Bizkit actually used to be pretty innovative and sounded good

before they "dumbed down" for a bigger audience

There is nobody really its too unique. Not even Van Morrison is that similiar and he was a big influence on Jim Morrison. Maybe you need to look at some baritone style singers or black blues singers to find some type of comparison.

Remember nobody from that time period was doing music like the Doors, of the other bands, only groups like the Velvet Underground were putting out similiar darker themed music, as were bands like the Stooges etc but none of these sounded anything like the Doors.

You need to listen to their first three albums, because that is where the Doors legend was born.

I can't think of anyone more tired and whiskey laden than Phil Anselmo on the highly entertaining double cd and dvd set, "Diary of a Mad Band". The first live audio disk is spot on stoner metal w/ Phil pushing the usual rough edge. The 2nd live disc he's pretty much drunk out of his mind on Jack, and gives some of the worst vocals I've ever heard. Completely tuneless and whiskey impaired. Still, you can rip a cd with 70 mins. of good quality live Down. Then there's the live DVD where's he's much better, plus you get to see a crack band crank out a bunch of great NOLA tunes. You might as well just check out NOLA, but Anselmo wasn't as tired or whiskey laden, so I don't know how much interest you'd have in that.

I'm burnt out on Pantera man.

Anyway, I have a few questions.

1. Been thinking about getting some "Super Furry Animals" (thanks to Urban) and saw this.

Amazon.com: Fuzzy Logic/Radiator: Super Furry Animals: Music

Should I get this or the normal edition of Radiator? Do these type of things come with both liner notes? (This is actually cheaper than both of them seperately)

2. Duga has recommended the Blur discography to me. Would it be worth it to get "13," "Parklife," "Blur" and "The Great Escape" for 13 dollars?

3. Are any of the following bands discographies worth buying? Also, could you guys recommend me any discographies that would be relatively cheap to purchase used on Amazon? (Around 6 - 10 albums is ideal)
AC/DC (just the Bon Scott stuff or Johnson too?)
Led Zeppelin
White Stripes
Velvet Underground
Pixies

4. I have thought about going down Urban's 100 list and buying everything he has there starting from his favorite album. Do you think this is a good idea? Should I explore an artists discography if I like the album or should I try to stay strictly to his list?

I love you guys.
