You're both as guilty as each other at desperately trying to get over. Just chill.
And perhaps you'd like Harmonium, Above?

Why did you even post that video? It's nothing LIKE what I asked for. You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for attention seeking techniques now.
Well, I just thought that "progressive and unique..with teeth" would encompass a gigantic amount of music. And I think that last song was pretty progressive (possibly "regressive" actually) and very unique.
If you want some older and less creepy stuff I'll assume you mean innovative and with a bit of a harsh edge to it.
I'm going to suggest Yes, but this starting at the very top:

I put it in because it's still progressive.
And if you want to get interested in Yes, then this is the easiest song to start with.
It's a bit progressive, yeh?

nope, totally pop-rock
i would suggest Yes' "Yours is No Disgrace" - prog but yet still quite accessible

No problem, you do know a lot more about this than me:
(I still think everything Yes did was prog!!!)

Big Generator and 90125 were basically pop albums
Trevor Rabin wrote most of both, not Yes themselves
they were called Yes-West at this point

that is such, like, a wide umbrella
can you narrow it down by naming bands you like, with youtubes, if possible?
Opeth and Ihsahn would be pretty big players on my iPod

As Il Duce said, this is not really Yes, its just mostly Trevor Rabin who gave the band an early 1980s facelift.

Yeah, sorry, I was just trying to find a song they performed which had "a bite", and that was honestly the best I could come up with!
