anyone know of any space rock bands, similar in sound to the clean-vocal breaks Between The Buried And Me often incorporates in the middle of some of thier songs?

If you're after space rock definitely check out the band Failure.

Not sure if this is the place to do it, but I was reading the first couple pages of this topic and read about Queens of the Stone Age. I had forgotten I wanted to check them out. I've only heard a couple of their singles, but I really liked what I heard. Which of their albums is a good one to start with?

"Rated R" and "Songs for the Deaf" are the two to start with.
