Default Steve Digiorgio Appreciation Thread

I'm not sure how many of you know who he, but Digiorgio plays the fretless bass. He's taken part in bands such as Death / control denied, Quo Vadis and Iced Earth.

I thought Individual Thought Patterns by Death and Defiant Imagination by Quo Vadis were some of the best material, and Digiorgio shouldn't go on without deserving the recognition he needs. :P

One of my favourite bassists in the world of meta, prolific, talented and hard-working. Also, played bass on Vintersorg - Visions From the Spiral Generator, one of the best pretentious metal albums from the past 10 years.

I love how you had to bold 'Vintersorg', but I'm glad to hear somewhere else appreciates his work other than I!

Actually, I make a point of bolding band/artist names in posts, it comes from wanting to emphasize artists and their albums. i usually italicize album titles. A habit I picked up a few years ago.

Digorgio is a beast of a bassist whose fingers are all over the music world. A hard-working, highly ethical (and apparently likeable) guy.

Hard not to appreciate that.
