Default Great, Previously Unreleased Songs

Has anyone ever bought an album with previously unreleased songs and thought: 'Why didn't they release this before?' Have any of those unreleased songs ever turned out to be among your favorites?

1. 'Get Born Again' is one of my favorite Alice In Chains songs, but it was only released on the compilation Best of the Box.
2. 'All In The Suit That You Wear' was released only on the Stone Temple Pilots compilation Thank You, but it's one of my favorite songs by STP.
3. Honorable mention goes to 2 Blue Oyster Cult songs: 'Boorman The Chauffeur' on the re-release of Secret Treaties, and 'Donovan's Monkey' on the re-release of BOC's self-titled.

(Yes, I bought #1 and #2 purely for the unreleased songs.)

"Departure" by Bauhaus. One of my favorite songs by them and yet as far as I know it only appears on their Peel Sessions collection and as a bonus track on the reissue of their album Burning from the Inside.

You might be thinking of 'What The Hell Have I', which was released as a single. I could be wrong, though. In any event, both are great songs from a great band.
