They describe their sound as "A Terran colony being overrun by the Zerg" and I think that's the most accurate description out there. I was expecting it to be some kind of Industrial hybrid focusing heavily on sampling and remixing the game music but it's totally original... and not very good.

I come up with some silly genre ideas as a joke, and go figure, they actually exist. But dammit if this doesn't catch my interest. You gotta love a name like Mononofu.

Doom metal is awesome and it's relaxing to listen to. There are some amazing bands out there.

It just becomes irrelevent when a metalcore fan bashes any other type of metal.

Some of the only metal bands i listen to anymore are doom bands. Electric Wizard and Reverend Bizarre are just incredible.
