i have to be honest and say what i think.

guitar hero is one of the most retarded things ever invented. why the hell would someone spend time learning how to jam with that plastic craptastic thing? they could spend the same amount of time with an actual guitar, and they'd probably get laid, prolly get a free drunk out of it at least.

Sounds about right. Like someone said, GH/RB as a gateway to more and better bands isn't a bad thing, unless you're some sorta metal isolationist protection all that is troo and kvlt. Even in the age of the internet, I'm sure there are areas where people just don't have the options to explore new music, and GH/RB is as good as any.

you obviously don't know the power of GH/RB.....if you are awesome at it, you can also get laid especially with the hot chick that wants to get on and sing while she's already drunk.

the reason why people gravitate towards is because it's alot easier to pick up and play while drunk or even sober and it's a great social activity for house parties with people yelling at you for sucking on drums or having to save the damn singer all the time that's screeching notes all off key. It's good times all around.

QFT. But it does annoy me when people brag about their skills on expert and just want to keep showing it off when you and your friends just wanna play the damn game for fun. Nothing wrong with the game, but sometimes people take it a little far.

I got laid from playing guitar hero at a party once. I was shredding it up on expert (no big deal) and she wanted me to teach her.... I taught her something alright.
