Who is the 3rd gen Thrash/Metal big 4

I was in another thread and someone said who is the best out of the Trash/Metal big 4

Metallica,Megadeath,SLayer,(Anthrax..who i dont think belong with the rest)

but that got me thinking what would yall consider the new Big 4 when it comes to Thrash/Metal

Mine would be

Pig destoyer,DevilDriver,Goatwhore,Municipal waste

What do yall think

To me "big 4" would mean bands that are innovators and well respected in the metal community. With that said, mine would be:

Napalm Death
Mayhem
At the Gates
Cannibal Corpse

isnt 3 of thoes bands more Death metal and Black metal ....

yeah, and they've all been around since the '80s too.

thrash was very much its own time, there haven't been any pure thrash bands to come around in the last decade or so. there's plenty of bands that have built on and around thrash structures, but i can't see a decisive "big four" like thrash once had.

perhaps that's why speed-oriented metal has fallen in popularity over the years.

My response was more on the /metal side of the thing, but I do admit that i forgot that the thread was supposed to be about new-ish bands.
