Yeah, think it was the Civic, either that or the Wulfrun, even though it's basically the same place.

Actually, Queens of the Stone Age was pretty awful in Wolves as well, the bass was way too loud, and the vocals were so quiet my girlfriend who couldn't see didn't know Mark Lanegan had come on for three songs.

Is an ok venue - though the Royal Court in Liverpool is fantastic!

Was that when Monster Magnet supported? the sound was crap then. I had to go and see loads of whiney women singer/songwriters with one of my exes. Got bullied into coldplay and Gomez at wolves, coldplay at ronnie scotts and the worst was travis at NIA. pure torture, thank god i don't have to do that anymore

I'm sure travis supported oasis when I saw them at the NIA and they seemed ok tbh...

Mind you that was a few years ago :P
