Really? I like all of Ulver's discography but their black metal stuff is great too. Nattens Madrigal is beautiful - the production is so harsh yet quite melodic at the same time. I love the vibe it gives off. Nice basslines too.
Arcturus is brilliant... I'd say they're more avant-garde than black metal. Only their first album could really be called BM. Have you seen
