Default Has anyone else noticed something in Korean Music

I dunno how many of you are really K-Rock/Pop listeners, but "srsly wtf?"
It's no longer who can sing - it's "who can dance the most originally?", "who is prettier?"

I mean, im no retard, i know that the rest of the world isn't so musically selective anymore either, but K-Rock has just decided to take a crap or something because all the bands sound exactly the same. I can't even tell why a group is popular anymore, when every other band is just like them. Oh wait, this band's lead singer has a slightly different hair style.

... oh nvm, its also. exactly. the same.

the same can be said for any Cantopop or J-pop group as well, it's a matter of piggybacking onto a particular style and using sex appeal to fill out the "talent" column.

nothing different in the western hemisphere.

But its worse in Korea - compared with Korea, the western music industry is an innoncent school girl against a leathery whore. J-Pop is on the same way, but at least the good artists still are recognised. Korea doesn't even care anymore, all it's thinking is "the shorter the skirt, the better the view" and i shudder to think what will happen to the "music" industry in Korea when that skirt just turns into a belt.
