The new album was not good, but the first and second are kind of personal classics for me

I was still really premature musically when Billy Talent II came out, but even I was thoroughly disappointed with it. Billy Talent III felt like I was being spat on by musicians who decided to not even try. I still like Billy Talent I once in a while.

II's got some pretty ace songs but it has nothing on the debut. I don't even have to listen to III in its entirety to know that it's a wack of ****.

Same here. I and II will always hold a place in my heart.

I still cannot really get into 2. There are a couple songs that I do find groovy, but the first one hit me so hard I can't turn back.

'So I hold my breath til my heart explodes...'

The only song I heard and like from Billy Talent is "Red Flag", but I should see if he has any more good songs.
