Korn? Slipknot?
 

I asked yesterday about limpbizkit having there time. What about korn and slipknot? I have been to see both live and they are all very talented and emotional on stage. i think that korn lost it a bit with Untouchables both musically and lyrically but despite not lyrically improving for their latest album "take a look in the mirror" it is some of their best music so far. i wonder what they will do next and will this be their last album.
Anyway, back to slipknot. After much speculation about the knot being untied does anyone know what is happening with them. i mean, they say they feel the most comfortable together that they ever have.... recording the new album in a haunted house.... yet they are still breaking up?? have i got my facts straight? aparently they are gonna do there last tour soon and just wondered who is still fans of the big 9?

I like Korn up untill Follow the Leader, after that, they just kinda started to suck. I liked Slipknot, the first one, for awhile a long time ago. Now a days I dont' care for either of them. just my opinion.

I think Follow the Leader was Korn's best album. There was so much good music there. I got Take a look in the mirror for xmas, and I think it's pretty good too.

It feels like they got back some of the raw energy they were missing in some songs on Untouchables (which i also have!)...i mean a lot of it just sounded angry or depressed, not really high energy or anthing. Right Now is a good song off the new album.

yea i dont really like either band...Korn is okay i guess... but Slipknot is one of the worst bands ever in my opinion...y do they need 9 people when have of them just dance around on stage?

maybe i'm wrong, but it seems like Korn copied their sound off Nine Inch Nails?

slipknot are very talented, you try and get 9 guys playing in cyinc. Most people silike them due to that fact that they became mainstream. Unfourntantly its become trendy to hate mainstream and call people sell outs.
Korn is washed up and slipknot has a new CD coming out that will be proof that they still have what it takes. I cant wait to see them at ozzfest this year, becasue it may be their last tour

Yeah, if you have a time signature, it's about the easiest thing there is to do. Especially since Slipknot plays in 4/4. Besides, a few of the members don't even do anything besides bang on empty barrels. Korn was ok up until Follow the Leader, but now they only do one thing well . . . suck.

slipknot, hands down for me, i dont like KoRn lol. and i sure hope they dont split up beacuse there stuff is so good now!

Ewwww. Nu-Metal is worst excuse for music ever. I am SO happy slipknot are breaking up. Korn should just go away. They've already lost that initial shock factor they copied off Marilyn Manson, and now their doing anything to get peoples attention. Doesnt one of their newer videos feature someone eating sh*t??

And in their lastest single, the video is of them smashing up a music store, meanwhile music stores like HMV and Music World are exactly where the most copies of their albums are being sold. Sounds like a bunch of sell-out sh*t hippocrites if I ever saw em.

Korn definatley did not copy their sound from NIN, because Trent Reznor is actually a good musician. If your judging it purely off the song I Wanna F*ck You Like An Animal, then it might sound that way, but tons of bands got caught up in that Nu-Metal upswing, only now their realizing that they suck. Funny thing is I could have told them that 5 years ago when most of this **** was starting.

I love you guys, don't know ya, but i urge you to listen to some other music...you may like other styles of music, or similar artists that aren't all the rage, but are damn good. Just because they're not printed on hoodies and t shirts on every "hot topic" store shelf doesnt mean they're not good. Honestly, check some of these similar artists out. Promise you'll like something.

Slipknot is definately better, cause they got a bunch of percussionists in the back playing all kinds of cool **** Korn doesn't do. Korn does kick ass, though (up until Follow the Leader)

Dude Korn may have totaly lost fans for untouchables but it was slipKnot that went mellow on there latest cd, im mean come on slipknot not cussing

KoRn ****ing owns. I love them. They are so talented. They do stay true to the fans, while doing some experimenting of their own. KoRn has got some diehard fans. KoRn brought the "Nu-Metal" genre to light.. so they'll always be there. Slipknot's good, too. The songs on their new album aren't very distinct though. I'd like to see them before they break up.

Yeah, I don't like either of them... And by the way, Head leaving KoRn to be a Christian... I'm sorry, but that was the funniest thing I have seen a long, long time. I think Slipknot had a good run, and they need to hang up their gear, as well as the masks.

KoRn--Started Talented, Ruined themselves by doing movie Soundtracks... In my opinion.
