Some music of all genres sucks. To say it does based on little knowledge seems ignorant. It would be better to say that the rap music (i hate that name, it's hiphop) that you have heard so far sucks.

I`d rather not thanks , I like to find music the old fashioned way, by listening to it.Not by seeing some idiot with a goatee grunting at a camera.

Ha, great. So now we've got "this genre sucks mines the best."

I hate to say it, but Id rather have the hundreds of "favourite guitarist" threads.

I think theres a certain charm to 13 year old metal kids saying every other genre is crap & we should all go out & buy the next Septic C0ckmuncher album , or whatever metal bands call themselves these days.

In fact when Public Enemy first came about they were actually described as 'Black punk'.

Plus the first Hip Hop act ever to play the UK was Grandmaster Flash when he was support to the Clash.

They`re a lot more closely linked than people think.
