I don't doubt this is true, he just relapsed which has probably amplified his douchitude and made him all funked up.

I really don't give a flying fuck as I haven't listened to Aerosmith in nearly 20 years, but I'd rather he just stay in the band than to have yet another historical band continue with a new singer instead of starting a new project.
