joy division and the kinks are/were awesome. sonic youth im not so keen on, never been able to get into them.

Thats hardly surprizing. I love Sonic Youth but it has to be said about 70% of their stuff is absolute crap.

When Sonic Youth do something good , it`s amazing.
When they do something bad it`s REALLY awful.

I think 70% of their stuff is absolute rubbish , but the other 30% makes it worth it.

Just because I say I like a band doesn`t mean I have to kiss their ass over everything they do.

I dont think theris gonna be a band everyone can agreee on we all have diffrent tastes...

I don't like The Kinks, the vocals bug me and 'You Really Got Me' is one of my most hated songs. Its so boring. Van Halen did a better cover :)

Ha, I have a friend who doesnt like Pantera at all.. Its really wierd cause he likes basically everything he hears in one way or another.

I read an interview in Rolling Stone with Robert Smith and they asked him about The Darkness and he said "well I never liked anything Queen did, and so I certainly don't like a rehashing of that"

And I thought, "Man I didn't think i could possibly hate the hack Robert Smith any more...but I guess I do now"
