First off, I like Rise Against's non-political songs. Second off while teaching is an occupation it is also a group of people which is what your entire arguement is based off. And the you don't know your history at all. The Jews were heavily persecuted from roughly 1830 to 1870. from 1870 to the very early 1900's they had a higher standard of living than before in Western Europe. Then came WWI this took away almost all of the Jews rights because it was believed that the Jews were aiding and abieting both Allied and Central powers. In Germany following WWI when the German people were in the one of the worst post-Bismarck depressions they had ever faced. The Jews being mostly bankers and economist and doctors, took the brunt of the angry backlash. This lead to a platform of hatred put forth by the National Socialist Party (Nazi party).

I'm am appalled that you would compare what is being described as a "lack of homosexual rights" to the holocaust (marriage isn't a right but thats a different discussion). I have several *** friends and am not trying to win an arguement. I'm a merely stating that this is in no way similar to genocide.
