the band i've been listening to the most lately is US Christmas, but i still wouldn't refer to them as my favorite.

that will probably always be a tie between Black Sabbath and the Melvins

My all-time favorite band has and probably always will be The Clash but I'd say The Dillinger Escape Plan are my favorite band right now (and for the last three months)

You're right there! These five odd year intervals between albums tends to be a challenge for one's patience! At least it's always worth the wait!

Mine is probably either Cocteau Twins or Boris. Cocteau Twins make such beautiful ethereal stuff that is great to sleep to especially. Boris I like for pretty much the opposite reason; they can play great loud and fast stuff, but they're as good when they slow down and just play drone too.
