Worst band live...
 

I saw Crossfade recently. they were good and i love their music but they arent half as good live as they sound on the cd. i was just wondering if anyone else has had an experience where they went to see a band and were disappointed. i kinda want to know what bands not to see.

my brother told me Atreyu sucks dikc live.

Nickelback sukcs bad.

Nickle back gives a mindless predormnce and sound just like the cd when live, as does Green Day, but if that's what you like, then Nickleback was good. I personally hate when bands sound just like the song, shows they are all about the scene and "preformance" rather than that commanding stage presence that makes you wanna ssssssccccccrrrrreeeeaaaammmmm!

well they suck live and on record...thats a given

I saw Blind Melon years ago

They were bloody awful , It`s also the only time i`ve ever seen a frontman try to start a sing-a-long & not one person in the crowd join in.

I`ve never seen them live ever yet I could have told you that.

Well personally i think nekromantix suck live ive been to countless of their shows(and will go to more)but i was dissapointed the first time i sawll them.

Saw sh*tknot at ozzfest a few years ago - they suck pretty hard live...

Farse were really crap live... But then I never really liked them anyway. This just put me off them completely.

i saw deftones they were lets just say not good cause they sound pretty really good on the cd i love the singers voice but when they perfomed and i went to see them the singers voice was not something that i expcected so just for u to know

Blink 182 at wembley were pretty poor, we may have caught them on a bad night but either way, tawdry

GREEN DAY!!!
They were at leeds festival last year, and played most of their newer stuff, it was pretty awful, I felt like throwing something at Billie-joe Armstrong just for how poor they were.

poison sucks live i saw them open for kiss the local band that opened for poison z02 was better than poison.!!!

I would have to agree with gongadin...Greenday live SUCKS B-A-L-L-S...they just think they're hot S*** coz they are "popular punk" They are absolutely crap. I got a friend to record some songs on her phone and she was having a mad time but the band absolutely sucked. I would have loved to have been there with like a mob of anti-greenday people...see how f***ing good they are then!!

They play live shows on the radio here alot, holy crap did everlast suck live. I thought Fantomas was bad. Spoon was bad. I saw korn once where they must have all been on smack cause they couldn't even start songs with all the members in time.

People will probably think this is blasphemous, but the worst band I've ever seen live was the Stones.

The sound was terrible.

Jagger and Richards sang in harmonies unknown to man.

It was just plain brutal.

It must have been one of their worst performances then. 99% of the time they're absolutely incredible live. I've seen them 8x. The last time I saw them, about a year before Shannon Hoon died, I was lucky enough to be able spend a few hours hanging out with him and Chris Thorne on their tour bus. He (shannon) was one of nicest most humble people Iv'e ever had the chance to meet. I was totally crushed when he died.

That stuff happens. Not blasphemous, just subjective. They are usually regarded as really good live, but then again, that might be based in 70's folk lore.

any slipknot concert is gonni be crap! i saw greenday at t in the park a couple of years ago and they were piss poor

I don't saw them myself (for GOD'S SAKE, I don't and I never would), but I heard that 3 Doors Down shud be real horrible. A friend told me, she was there and annoyed a lot...I don't like this kinda music anyway... I hate this stupid pseudo-alternative bands, they suck!

Whoooaaa! Reading above I saw something bad about Green Day. I saw them recently and I gotta say, they are amazing on stage! Billy works his butt off on that stage! The atmosphere was amazing! And that is what it's all about right?

Now New Found Glory - who were supporting were really quite bad, hard to imagine it was the same band I'd heard on cd!

blink-182 sucks the big one, live. then again theyre not much better on cd but the tickets were free and i thought 'what the hell'. much to my dismay, i ended up falling asleep towards the end.

My friend saw dragonforce recently and said the guitarist was too drunk to play. I myself saw the Misfits a couple of months ago and Jerry Only is a horrible singer.

Anyone ever heard of a band called The Bravery? That lead singer tries WAY too hard to be Robert Plant (swinging his mic around, dancing badly, TRYING way to hard to look like he "feels" the music). Do not imitate the Gods of Rock unless your gonna do it right! :nono:

I personally think they give GREAT live shows, sure their frontman might be a little Plant-ish but i can name alot of singers who do that kinda thing.

Off the top of my head I'd have to mention The Distillers and HIM as two really bad sets I've seen. However both have been at festivals to be completely fair.

Trivium are the only band I have ever paid to see and then walked out.

The worst band i have ever seen live are The Killers. Brandon Flowers sounded absolutely tuneless and the rest of the band could do nothing to make up for it. That was at a festival 3 years ago this summer and thankfully they weren't headlining :D
