Default Stone Sour

Stone Sour is a band consisting of vocalist Corey Taylor (Slipknot), guitarists Jim Root (Slipknot) and Josh Rand, bassist Shawn Economaki, and drummer Ray Mayorga (Soulfly). They've two studio albums to date, a self-titled one and one called Come What(Ever) May, they also have one coming out in September titled Audio Secrecy.

Here's a couple videos:

Thoughts on this band??

I think they're great. Heard about them a while ago but never really got round to actually listening to them until I discovered they're supporting at an Avenged Sevenfold show I might be going to. Really different to what I thought they'd be considering I heard of them through Slipknot.

I only heard 2 songs from them:
"Through Glass" and "Zzyzx Rd."

But I like both of them.

One of the few post-grunge bands that doesn't make me want to pour acid in my ears...

I like some of their stuff but I haven't heard much apart from singles. Some songs I despise though ("Say You'll Haunt Me" was a big part of why I quit listening to the radio)

I'm sorry that I'm bringing back such an old thread, but due to their new album, I believe this is the best time to do it. I can't believe how unknown this band is in this forum. Like I've said before, I'm not a metal fan. Besides the 12-13 biggest metal bands such as Motörhead, Judas Priest and so on, I listen to only around 10 more metal bands as Godsmack, System of a Down, and Stone Sour is one of these bands. Corey Taylor, for me is easily the best musician from the last decade. So, here are a couple of songs from their new album. I hope you'll enjoy them.

Well, their new album isn't bad at all, but I do prefer their past stuff (especially Audio Secrecy and the self-titled). Which one is your favorite?
