Best Band (of these choices)
 

What is the best band of these choices? Tool, Radiohead, Deftones, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails

I'd say TOOL. Not to take away anyting from the other bands (except the Deftones who couldn't suck more live) but TOOL has consistently made music their own way while at the same time progressing as a band and the art form they create. Their members all play equal roles and the 4 unique roles create one massively ingenius sound. Their live show is amazing and the albums are always intellectual while as balls out as possible.

I'd also have to say Tool, however I'd much rather listen to NIN's Pretty Hate Machine over any Tool album anyday.

Pretty Hate Machine is f*ckin' awesome! But I still like Tool better.

Radiohead for me. just love their progressive sound and their songs make you think while totally rocking.

RATM - **** you i won't do what ya tell me.... nuff said really.

I was mighty tempted to vote for Radiohead and Tom Yorks WONKY eye but then I thought "How frigging annoying it is that EVERYONE must lurrrve Radiohead?". And so I felt compelled to lay it all on the one and only 'System of a Down'.

It was a tie between System of a Down(yeah I'm lame) and Tool. Well, not much of a tie actually, because I voted for Tool.

System by far just cause its more my stile of music but i'll admit the rest besides radiohead,deftones,and rage are really tallented.

System of a Down is the only good thing on the list. I picked that.

I don`t want to say Radiohead because most Radiohead fans irritate the crap outta me.

But I think all the other bands on that list are festering crap , so i`ll have to.

I love APC but I wouldnt say they were the best there... I have to be in the right mood to listen to them...

Wow that's gotta be one of the stupidest posts ever. First of all Radiohead isn't half as mainstream as System of A Down. Secondly, suck my left nut for saying RATM sucks terribly. And finally, a band doesn't suck just because they are relatively mainstream.

well i never really bothered to look up radiohead, but if people say they are mainstream, then i wont listen to them. and a hell of a lot of mainstream bands suck, so i stay away from any mainstream music. and RAtM sucks like hell, they should all ****ing die. you most likely lost your left nut for listening to them. if you want to see stupid posts, look for posts made by millybig.

Yeah, go take a look at whatever popular music stores youve got nearby. Turn on the TV, read a popular music magazine, read some reviews. Its good in the opinion of a hell of a lot of people for it to be mainstream. Oh wait, were you under the impression that your opinion was superior to everyone elses?

whenever i read a popular magazine, turn on the TV, read reviews, and go to the nearest music stores, i get rap, hip hop, Muse, Maroon5, and that crap. if thats whats in, then mainstream sucks.

Ok, so you think those bands suck. Whatever. You cant say a whole genre sucks. Especially something as wide as "mainstream".

Well I could care less about what you think about Rage Against The Machine, pretty much because all of your opinions on mainstream bands in general come from people telling what is good and bad. Unless you come up with a good reason that you think all of the talented musicians in RATM should die then I dont really give a Fuck what you think about them.

Well, all the bands in this particularly poll are actually "mainstream" and have been for several years. But, does it really matter?

Tool easily...no band lives up to the word originality like these guys do. This is the smartest quartet ever. Ingenius music. Love the others too, just love this one four times more lol

yup. out of nowhere, three bands decided "hey i have an idea. lets suck." and the other band members were thinking of the other thing, and then bad things start happening to the band. isn't that logical?

Tool, SOAD, and NIN are the only good ones. i dont care for RATM, APC, or radiohead.... i know, im copying what my brother said. we have similar views on metal.

i don like any of em, but if i hadta chose, id go with ratm
