Sodom's newest record was rather disappointing. I mean I see a lot of Slayer riff-ripping in other bands, but their new piece sounds TOO much like a Slayer album.

I would have voted for Sepultura for their old school ****, but I voted Exodus because their new **** is the best thing going on in thrash today. Their early albums, besides Bonded by Blood, were pretty hit or miss, but since their reunion they have been ****ing awesome. Tempo of the Damned and Shovel Headed Kill Machine define new school thrash.

I'm probably getting off topic here, but this is worth a mention:

The new Atheist piece, Jupiter. **** Yes.

Sepultura.

One that was not on the list that I would pick over the rest is Sacred Reich (exluding Sepultura.)

**** yeah! Crossover has always been my favorite form of thrash. They may not be contenders for "biggest", but SOD and Carnivore are epic crossover thrash.
