I recommend Stash for Bongzilla. But most are pretty representative of their work.

Killdozer I don't even know enough about to say.

Killdozer...checkout their first album Intellectuals Are the Shoeshine Boys of the Ruling Elite...if anything for the song 'Pile Driver'....but i think the definitive Killdozer is the album Uncompromising War on Art Under the Dictatorship of the Proletariat

for Bongzilla

i agree with Stash but also checkout Apogee...again if anything for the song 'Grim Reefer'

I prefer Weedeater over them both although it's not very relevant to the thread. Never thought much of Bongzilla personally.

KILLDOZER.

I'm not that familiar with Bongzilla. I think I listened to one of their albums once, called Amerijuanica or something - I can't remember much about it, but it obviously never made much impression. Killdozer are a brilliant band - I first heard a cover they did of 'American Pie' and it's fair to say their vocalist gave the song an entirely different slant. I've been a fan ever since, For Ladies Only was the first one I got and it's probably still my favourite of their albums.

Both bands are from Madison and they’re both named for inanimate objects that become lifelike.

Check out Burl and Gateway
