Worst Metal Band Ever?

i am a product of the 80's and don't understand how anyone could put metallica in this category. i agree that their new music is bad but the old stuff is awesome. it is because of this band that we have decent metal today. if you listen to alot of the newer bands coming out. you can hear alot of metallica influence in them. also i don't know how a band that just got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame could be the worst ever. i guess millions of fans are wrong. if you want to talk bad let's talk about some of the 80's bands that claimed to be metal but were nothing but posers. like trixter or europe. these were not only bad hair bands they were just bad bands period.

I somewhat understand.

I'm gonna be honest about Converge... half of the time they give me a headache. I can't stand Jacob Bannon's screams, and I hate the guitar playing.

Sorry but "limp bizkit" to even have metal in the genre is just... they suck basically : )

I think Limp Bizkit was mentioned on this board before - and rightly so, they are indeed, arguasbly the worst "metal" band to ever scar the face of the earth...

Listing the world's most influential metal bands in a thread like this is just pure trolling. Those posts are easy to ignore. I mean even among the popular metal bands, there are much, much worse than Metallica .. At least they didn't record "Unskinny Bop" or a heavy metal christmas album.
