I've been listening to JLo's new album lately so it's an easy transition for me.

Are you sure on that? heavy metal and hard rock were farely interchangeable terms back in the 1970`s when bands like Kiss, Scorpions, Rainbow, Van Halen, UFO, Uriah Heep and the Blue Oyster Cult to name a few, were putting out their best stuff.
