Default Knights of the Spatchco.ck?

Came across these guys on Reverbnation - unfortunately the filter blocks their full name - Spatchco.ck is a type of bird ... besides - I'm a noob poster and can't post URL's - so google them if you can be bothered

Thoughts on the style? -- no idea what genre they'd be - some pretty random stuff - the lead guitarist has shades of EVH

Probably not the most productive reply

However; turns out they've just released a youtube vid:

Not to shabby

It's funny, that video both looks and sounds like it's from about 1993. I wonder if that was intentional.

Anyway, the first song reminded me a lot of Tool. Second song has more of it's own style. Not something I'd go out of my way to listen to but not bad.

Yea - it does a bit - though I'm not sure about the second song -- what can you compare that to?

I did a bit of reading - turns out the guitarist is from the 80s glam rock band - Osmi Putnik - that might explain the 90s look maybe?
