I saw that when it premiered at SXSW in '09. The filmakers introduced it and did a nice Q&A afterwards.

They actually lived / hung out with and filmed their subjects for a long time before they put together the final cut. It was a relief to see a well-informed BM doc that treats the musicians as people and mostly ignores the sensational drama that surrounds them.
