I think Howard does have a good voice, and a few of the songs on End of Heartache were good, but the rest sounded like filler tripe. I liked Daylight Dies much better, and the new singles I have been hearing off the upcoming one sound really good.
Okay I've heard some of the singles from the first album but didn't know before. The singer from that album I guess I understand why someone would say he's better because of said edge and I guess it has more of a metal feel but it doesn't do it for me. I guess I'm not metal enough to appreciate as much gutteral screaming.

I admit that his voice isn't for everyone. His clean vocals are also really good, I won't say better than Howard Jones', because that would be ignorant of me.

I saw Killswitch Engage live a couple of years ago. I didn't know who they were at the time, but I had heard the name before.

I absolutely love the band, along with the new singer. He adds a lot of character to the band and amazingly interacts with crowds.

I've also heard that they were one of the nicest bands.

Yeah. Trains are boring to me, too.

i downloaded their new album 5 days ago and i think it is better than as daylight dies. Their are some softer songs on their with amazing choruses that even people with less of a metal background will enjoy. But it also has some heavy stuff as well. Amazing album though if you haven't checked it out.

Default Killswitch Engage

Just saw them again last night for like the 3rd or 4th time and they impressed me. The first several times i saw them, i wasnt anywhere near sober, but this time i was entirely sober. During their first song, the crowd mistakenly thought the song was over but it was only about 70% through. The singer saw the crowds reaction and was obviously displeased with the fact that the crowd didnt know the song, but he didnt get all prissy and butt hurt, instead you could see the utter determination on his face and he brought it full force. Mad props to that dude!!

I went to the show to see Clutch, and they were awesome as expected, but Killswitch very much impressed me

i did search actually!! it gave me like 7 pages of results and youd think that searching for the term "Killswitch Engage" would bring the thread with the title of the same wording up in the first page of results. Thank you for merging my superfluous thread with this one tho. It helped me find it if nothing else
