who HATES numetal?
 

well...Slipknot are my favorite band Nu-metal/Hardcore whatever you wanna call them. I don't think of myself to saying "I'm a heavy mother F***er" but I like heavy stuff. Slipknot used to be heavy..but who cares I like them. Not everyonelikes only black metal (ok you might find some people that are like that, Like how I hate all rap-hip hop and all that other tripe) I like Most types of metal.

Dimmu Borgir would have to be my favorite Black/Death(whatever you wanna call it) Metal.

On the other hand LINKIN PARK SUCK....worst f666ing band ever, Disturbed aren't good either but If i had a choice it would rather be Disturbed.

i like your mentality. seriously. not often do you find somebody who isnt all anal about what they listen to (like me)

I totally agree on linkin park, and disturbed... slipknot was better "back in the day," but if I had a choice (which I do) I'd rather staple my tongue to the wall then listen to them or any of their co-numetal buddies. also, i like how you admit you like some numetal, as opposed to being one of those freaks who jump out goin' "lyk omg dats not num3tal, its lyk t0t4lly h4rdc0re"

my personal favourite... at least, some of them... bloodsimple, children of bodom, winter solstice, celtic frost, rammstein (i know i know, mainstream), and maroon, and machine head. dude, and motorhead, agnostic front, lamb of god, amorphis, mudvayne kinda, deicide, and um... killgore.

Omg I hate Linkin Park worst of all and my favorite metal band is Dimmy Borgir!!!! I have found my clone!!! Since I want to be original though I also like: Slayer, Morbid Angel, The Haunted, and Blind Guardian.

Dimmu Borgir is untalented.

nu-metal has no redeeming qualities. except SOAD. that is all.

Yeah I don't think any stations are holding on to Nu-metal. You get with the ever evolving stream of music or you lose sales.

No one really expected three days grace or puddle of mud to last anyway. You kinda new they got by on the momentum of Korn. Because of Nu-metal any song about hating something (in the genre or otherwise) seems to banal and trite to me now.

I don't not sure what genre everyone is discusing but I don't hear any mention of MUDVAYNE or SYSTEM OF A DOWN OR STATIC-X have they no support?

those are 3 sweet bands...Listening to Wisconsin Death trip from Static X now. Mudvayne are sweet to...got all their recent stuff and 2/3 DvD's.

Another cool Girl/Underground band is Kittie.

The new MuDvAyNe dvd is the **** man, i can't wait till systems new album hits stores. On wendsday it will be 1 week till i get to see MUDVAYNE live. AGAIN! :yikes:

Dude don't ****ing put that little smilie up if you don't even know what the **** nu-metal is. Slipknot, Linkin Park, Korn. Not SOAD, well I think most of their stuff is classified as rock and metal. I don't even want to go into sub-genres cuz it'll become hazy to me and my eyes will shut.

i love Slipknot and Korn and Disturbed, and i relize their not heavy metal but i still like them and i don't go around calling myself HARDCORE!

to tell u the truth i couldn't even tell u a "real metal" band. if i had to say i'd say the most "hardcore" or heaviest band i listen to would be, In Flames, Hatebreed and I Killed The Prom Queen

Yeah same here, I was round at one of my mates houses, and he brought out his brothers book, and it classed blur as rock music, somehow I can't really see why, auburn's new band the gorillaz ain't really rock either.
