Honestly, I never really liked Into The Pandemonium at all. I may have to listen to it again because of everyone's opinion here

I thought it was a great statement of intent. "This isn't some brain dead album that's just about metal, metal, and more metal, this is about music." Also, I remember reading an interview with Tom Warrior, where he said the song was recorded as a reaction against the kinds of fans who were showing up at their shows. I don't remember him elaborating on just what kind of fans he was talking about, but the implication seemed to be that he was talking about the kinds of mindless thrash fans who all dressed alike and didn't like any music that wasn't thrash.

Ok I'm calling this battle and declaring Celtic Frost the winner 6:0. So Celtic Frost wins the Genre Splicing Metal War and a total of 23 votes were achieved in this war.

The Final Order:
Celtic Frost- Into the Pandemonium
Maudlin of the Well- Leaving Your Body Map
Naked City- Naked City
Mordred- In This Life

If you're wondering how I choose the wars, well I just lucky dip from this list, those bolded have already chosen and will only be eligible again once the list resets, I've also added some new people who have been on the thread and deleted some others who haven't been on MB or this thread in a while. Lolpocolypse is bolded as his is the next war which will be up tomorrow.

Loathsome Pete

My participation in this thread is rather limited ATM, as my internet is bundled with my rent, and - naturally - they strive to limit streaming/pirating and all that. I can get around it with TOR and what have you, but it's a pain.

You should spend less time talking economics on the other thread and more time talking music here.

I have to approve them first......I'm only kidding I'll be more than happy to put up your Linkin Park albums when your turn comes around.
