Okay, maybe we should take this conversation into the thread where it belongs. I think if this thread gets revived, it will have to be under new management, and therefore probably have to be remade entirely. I cannot take it over right now. With both Survivors at least partially in my grasp, I have to find time to update my other two threads sometimes. (Pop or Flop? is basically dead. It didn't generate a ton of interest in the first place.)

Krallice - Krallice

Behemoths of progressive and sometimes abstract, always atmospheric black metal. WITTR makes perfect black metal in my opinion, like, they embody everything that I personally want black metal to me, maybe even in general. The kind of band you could show someone to give them an example of what black metal is all about.

Krallice is outrageously technical and dissonant, downright retarded guitar chops on display. There's always like 8 sick riffs going on at one time. They shred their guitars up and down and back, really fresh modern black metal, awesome production, repetition to the extreme, but with such dynamic riffs, you wouldn't even care about the repetition.

But I vote WITTR. Like I said, this is 100% exactly what I like in black metal, flawless.

Not as familiar with Krallice as I am with WITTR, but I've listened to both albums enough to know WITTR are my choice. They're one of my favourite American black-metal bands, and Two Hunters is their finest work.

Like we could vote on a genre for a few days, and after we decide then we vote on an album.
